| Uguette Chiasson is president of LOGIMONDE inc.
and publisher of the three Internet magazines: Expressvoyage.ca, Bonjourvoyage.com
and TravelHotNews.com. Madame Chiasson started in the publishing business in 1986 by launching an office automation magazine distributing more than 35 000 copies monthly. At that time, Madame Chiasson received many compliments on the quality of her business. Rémi Marcoux, Président of Transcontinental, has describe it as “one of the best emerging values in the communication industry in Quebec”. In 1991, she sold her magazine and started her own travel agency. Her passion for travel kept her in the agency business for 5 years. But her devotion to the publication world overcame. She, once more, became publisher and launched her first book about travel, “L’ABC du Voyage”. The title would later change to “L’Agenda Allo Voyage” and then finally to “Bottin des fournisseurs”. She subsequently published “Répertoire des destinations soleil”. At the same time, she started a fax company specialized in advertising for corporate Canada. In its first year, the new company became one of the most important fax service enterprises for travel suppliers of Québec and Canada. |
